Qualifications

  • Proven experience with AI/ML technologies, automation platforms, data processing or systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of AI models, automation workflows, APIs and data flows.
  • Experience integrating business applications across finance, accounting, operations, or related functions.
  • Familiarity with Zapier, Make, Power BI, Looker Studio or similar platforms.
  • Experience with accounting, POS, forecasting, reconciliation or bookkeeping systems is valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Research, assess and recommend emerging AI technologies and automation solutions with measurable value.
  • Deploy and optimize AI models, automation tools and integrated workflows across functions.
  • Integrate and optimize platforms for invoice automation, receipt management, cash-flow forecasting, labor optimization and bookkeeping.
  • Develop and maintain internal AI dashboards using Power BI or Looker Studio.
  • Monitor AI systems and workflows, troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
  • Partner with teams across finance, operations, and other functions to embed AI into day-to-day processes.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technician based in Ireland.

This is a remote opportunity for a technically skilled AI professional looking to make a tangible impact across business operations.
You will research, implement, and optimize AI, automation, and data-driven technologies across multiple functions.
The role combines AI/ML expertise with systems integration, process automation, analytics, and operational improvement.
You will identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and increase efficiency through technology.
You will work with a diverse range of platforms spanning finance, accounting, labor management, forecasting, and business intelligence.
The position offers a collaborative, cross-functional environment where innovation and practical problem-solving are highly valued.
You will also help teams adopt AI solutions effectively through technical support, training, documentation, and continuous optimization.

Accountabilities
  • Research, assess, and recommend emerging AI technologies and automation solutions that can create measurable business value.
  • Deploy and optimize AI models, automation tools, and integrated workflows across different business functions.
  • Integrate and optimize platforms for invoice automation, receipt management, cash-flow forecasting, labor optimization, bookkeeping, and financial reconciliation.
  • Connect POS and accounting systems using integration and automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or Omnivore.
  • Develop and maintain internal AI-powered dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio to provide insights into financial, labor, and operational performance.
  • Streamline financial data flows, including bank transaction imports and accounting processes.
  • Implement and evaluate reconciliation and intelligent bookkeeping solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor AI systems and automated workflows, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
  • Partner with teams across finance, operations, customer support, marketing, and other functions to embed AI into day-to-day processes.
  • Ensure AI implementations align with relevant industry standards, ethical principles, security considerations, and organizational objectives.
  • Provide technical support, user training, and clear documentation for AI-powered applications and workflows.
  • Track developments in AI, automation, and data technologies and identify opportunities for ongoing innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with AI/ML technologies, automation platforms, data processing, or systems integration.
  • Strong technical understanding of AI models, automation workflows, APIs, data flows, and business technology systems.
  • Experience implementing or integrating business applications, ideally across finance, accounting, operations, workforce management, or related functions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Zapier, Make, Power BI, Looker Studio, or comparable automation and business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience working with accounting, POS, forecasting, reconciliation, or bookkeeping systems is highly valuable.
  • Ability to research emerging technologies, assess their practical applications, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and continuously optimize AI and automation systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, curious, and innovation-oriented mindset with a strong interest in the evolving AI and automation landscape.
