Job summary

Noble Freight Limited in Ireland is seeking two experienced Articulated Truck Drivers to join its transport and logistics operation. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods using articulated HGVs across Ireland.

The role requires a valid CE licence, CPC where required, and prior experience driving articulated vehicles. You should have good road safety knowledge, be capable of completing delivery documentation accurately, and communicate

Qualifications

• Valid Category CE driving licence or recognised equivalent.
• Valid Driver CPC where required.
• Previous experience driving articulated HGV vehicles.
• Good knowledge of road safety requirements.
• Ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Previous experience in Irish or European transport operations would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate articulated trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Collect and deliver goods to customers, suppliers and designated locations.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Secure loads correctly in accordance with road safety requirements.
• Complete delivery documentation, manifests and relevant paperwork.
• Plan and follow designated delivery routes.
• Load and unload goods where required.
• Check goods against delivery documentation.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays or other issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and comply with tachograph requirements.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in a safe and roadworthy condition.
• Comply with Irish road traffic legislation, company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff and transport management.
• Perform other duties reasonably associated with the role of an Articulated Truck Driver.
