Job summary

Noel Group in Waterford is seeking a reliable Artic Truck Driver (CE Licence) to join our Transport Department. You will deliver and collect goods across Ireland, ensuring safety and on-time performance. The role requires at least 6 months CE driving experience, a valid Driver CPC, and a flexible schedule including some weekend work.

Drivers are home every evening, with no cab overnight stays required. We offer a 12-month fixed-term contract, full training, and opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Valid Category CE (Artic) Driving Licence.
• Minimum of 6 months' professional CE driving experience, preferably in Ireland.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of transport compliance and road safety regulations.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an articulated (CE) vehicle in line with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete daily deliveries and collections efficiently and on schedule.
• Carry out pre-departure vehicle, trailer, load, and safety inspections.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Follow planned transport schedules and communicate effectively with the transport team.
• Accurately complete Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation, driver app updates, and any required paperwork.
• Comply with all EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.

• Driver Daily Rate: €141.00 per day
• Subsistence (Travel more than 8km & absence between 5 and 10 hours): €17.92
• Subsistence (Travel more than 8km & absence exceeding 10 hours): €42.99
• Holiday Pay Rate: €164.50 per day
• Additional €40.00 per day for any Saturday or Sunday worked

We are currently seeking a reliable Artic Truck Driver (Category CE Licence) to join the Transport Department of a well-established logistics and supply chain company based in Waterford.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Transport Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the safe, timely, and compliant delivery and collection of goods throughout Ireland.

We are seeking drivers with a minimum of 6 months' professional driving experience, preferably gained in Ireland.

Drivers will be home every evening and no overnight stays or sleeping in the cab are required. While the role is primarily based on established work patterns, flexibility is required to provide occasional coverage for alternative routes or weekend work due to holidays, illness, or operational requirements.

Working Pattern

This role is primarily a weekday position; however, drivers will be required to work a flexible schedule that includes either a Saturday or Sunday as part of their normal working week, in full compliance with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Drivers can expect to undertake:

• Straight Run Routes depending on operational requirements.

Occasional flexibility may be required to provide cover for alternative work patterns, weekends, or routes due to annual leave, illness, or other operational requirements.

Pay & Benefits

Daily Rates

• Driver Daily Rate: €141.00 per day
• Holiday Pay Rate: €164.50 per day

Subsistence Rates

• More than 8km travelled and absence between 5 and 10 hours: €17.92 per day
• More than 8km travelled and absence exceeding 10 hours: €42.99 per day

Weekend Premium

• Additional €40.00 per day for any Saturday or Sunday worked.
