Job summary

FRS Recruitment represents a large grocery chain recruiting an Area Manager for Wexford/Waterford/Kilkenny. The role oversees district performance, coaches Store Managers, and drives stock and cash management, with responsibility for openings, refurbishments, and annual business plans.

The candidate will lead a high-performing team, align with company strategy, and contribute in area manager meetings, while developing long-term careers in retail.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline or at least 3 years of management experience.
• Strong communication, planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
• A full, clean driving licence.

• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and track KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
