Aerial Platform Hire, part of The Briggs Equipment Group, invites applications for an Apprentice Fitter in County Kildare. You will work with an engineering mentor to maintain, service and repair equipment while completing all training documents and Solas-required modules.

To qualify, candidates should be 16+, have five Junior Cycle subjects with Grade D, and show a strong willingness to learn, good problem-solving and communication skills, plus a commitment to safety and punctuality.

Qualificações

• Must be aged 16 or over with five Junior Cycle subjects at Grade D or higher.
• Willingness to learn and follow apprenticeship training.
• Eligible for Solas training and assessments.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workshop.
• Good work practices including punctuality and responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Assist mentor with maintenance, servicing and repair of equipment.
• Complete training documents and assignments on time.
• Attend all training phases required by Solas.
• Provide job information to mentor for qualification needs.
• Help ensure successful completion of the apprenticeship.
• Keep diary records of daily activities and progress.
• Present a neat image in company uniform during shifts.
• Follow health and safety instructions at all times.
