Job summary

Citco Ireland seeks a CFS Analytics Team Lead, Reporting IT to drive delivery of BI and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense, Power BI/Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. You will mentor a distributed BI team and set governance standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or CS, 5+ years BI experience, cloud expertise (AWS/Azure), and strong communication skills. This role offers a challenging global environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading a team.
• 5+ years of experience in developing BI solutions, queries and database objects with RDBMS.
• Knowledge of AI/ML implementation patterns and ELT/ETL principles.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, CFN is an asset.
• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Kiro, AmazonQ, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with programming languages (Python, Javascript).
• Experience working on Agile teams.
• Exposure to API development.
• Data governance framework experience.
• Knowledge of financial industry will be preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and<b>both verbal and written</b>communication skills.
• Active interest in emerging technologies and industry trends
• Experience implementing complex data solutions
• Track record of continuous learning and skill development
• Strong technical documentation abilities
• Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of BI and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense, Power BI/Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of BI developers
• Define and enforce BI development, governance, and administration standards
• Ensure effective integration patterns between Databricks and BI semantic layers
• Partner with data engineering, cloud, and business stakeholders
• Stay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to a Citco need when required
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted BI development within governance boundaries
• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Kiro, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving
