Job summary

Scrambly in Ireland is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to build and run the data platform behind the commercial side of Scrambly — the pipelines and models that govern spend, rewards, and the ecosystem.

You will maintain pipelines that turn raw events, attribution data, and advertiser feeds into trusted tables, then use those tables to size opportunities, set thresholds, and tell the business what the data says.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or a closely related role.
• Strong SQL and solid analytical data modelling with layered warehouse design.
• Analytical judgement to turn questions into measures and recommendations.
• Google Cloud experience (BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM).
• Python for data work, and familiarity with Git and code review.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytical pipelines in Dataform on BigQuery from source data to consumer tables.
• Analyze commercial questions and design rules/thresholds for day-to-day decisions.
• Take ownership of existing pipelines and keep them running in production.
• Build testing, assertion, and alerting for data-driven models.
• Raise engineering standards: optimize warehouse costs and performance; promote best practices.
