Job summary

Actalent in Ireland is seeking a Technical Operations Specialist – Analytical Scientist to join its Technical Operations team. This hands-on role focuses on RP-HPLC, SEC/GPC and LC-MS analysis to support analytical development, investigations and continuous improvement across complex pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities include method development, validation and troubleshooting, data interpretation and supporting QC with method transfers.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline.
• 3–5+ years' experience in pharma GMP environment.
• Hands-on RP-HPLC experience.
• Experience with peptides, biologics, proteins or complex molecules.
• LC-MS and mass spectrometry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of method development, validation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and validate analytical methods
• Perform hands-on RP-HPLC, SEC/GPC and LC-MS analysis
• Support analytical investigations and troubleshooting activities
• Interpret complex analytical data and provide scientific recommendations
• Support QC teams with method transfer, validation and continuous improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity and regulatory requirements
