Job summary

Fortis Recruitment is assisting a global private investment firm in Dublin to hire an AML Manager who will lead the Dublin AML team with full ownership of a growing function.

The role is senior, hands-on and high-visibility, with 8–10 years of experience in fund administration and financial crime compliance, CAMS/LCI or equivalent. You will develop talent, manage risk, influence strategy, and collaborate with regulators, internal audit and the overseas office to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience in fund administration, onboarding, and financial crime compliance.
• Proven experience leading AML teams of 5+ people.
• Professional qualification such as CAMS, LCI or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management with client-facing experience.
• Central Bank of Ireland inspection or audit experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operational delivery of the Dublin AML team.
• Manage and develop direct reports, including performance and succession planning.
• Act as a senior escalation point for client and stakeholder matters.
• Support regulatory inspections, internal audit, and compliance testing.
• Drive process improvement across workflow design, technology, and automation.
• Own risk management within the AML unit, including procedure and checklist updates.
• Prepare and present management information to senior stakeholders.

Our client is a global private investment firm specializing in alternative investing with AUM of over € 100 bn. is hiring an AML Manager to lead its Dublin AML team. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the local Head of Unit with full ownership of a growing team.

This is an operational, hands-on and high-visibility role. We’re looking for an experienced AML manager who wants to help build and grow their team.
