Job summary

Le Meas Executive Search is seeking a Dublin-based AML Manager to lead the AML team, oversee investor onboarding, screening and transaction monitoring, and collaborate with international colleagues to ensure consistent service quality.

The role focuses on operational delivery, governance and change ownership, with induction and AML/KYC training provided. Hybrid working is available after probation, with a mix of in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years' experience in fund administration, investor onboarding and/or financial crime compliance.
  • Proven experience leading AML teams and managing complex escalations and cases.
  • Proven experience managing teams of five or more people.
  • Relevant professional qualification such as CAMS, LCI, a professional qualification in financial crime prevention, digital risk or AML, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with regulatory inspections and/or audits is preferred.
  • Client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee AML operational delivery across investor onboarding, periodic reviews, screening and transaction monitoring.
  • Lead and coach AML team members; manage capacity, performance reviews and succession planning.
  • Escalate and resolve complex team matters; maintain high service levels and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support regulatory reviews, audits and control testing; ensure AML procedures are up-to-date.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in AML workflows and technology.

Job description

The Company is a well-established financial services organisation with a growing presence in Ireland and an international client base. Role Overview

The Company is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, Dublin-based AML Manager with responsibility for operational delivery, stakeholder management, change ownership and team leadership. The AML Manager will oversee the daily operational activities of the Dublin AML team and work closely with international colleagues to ensure alignment and consistent quality of service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing team, reporting directly to the local Head of Unit.

The role is critical to ensuring the effective delivery of AML operational activities, including investor onboarding, periodic reviews, screening, transaction monitoring and associated financial crime controls across the business.

Induction training will be provided, alongside compulsory AML/KYC training and optional development opportunities. Additional role-specific training will be delivered in-house by peers, the line manager and senior management.

Job Specification
Operational Delivery
  • Ensure a strong control environment across investor onboarding, periodic reviews, screening, transaction monitoring and related activities.
  • Act as a quality control/checking point for relevant operational tasks.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Manage and coach direct reports and support the development of future leaders.
  • Implement structured training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Oversee performance reviews and manage team capacity, resource allocation and succession planning.
  • Support delivery of both operational and strategic objectives.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a senior escalation point for team matters.
  • Maintain strong service levels and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with key stakeholders on business and roadmap initiatives.
Audits & Inspections
  • Support planned and ad hoc regulatory reviews, internal audits, compliance testing and other assurance activities.
Process Improvement
  • Identify and deliver improvements across workflow design, technology and automation.
  • Promote greater efficiency and consistency across AML processes.
  • Manage and control risks within the AML function.
  • Contribute to updates of AML procedures, checklists and process documentation.
Education
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations, industry developments and best practice.
Governance
  • Prepare and present management information and reporting where required.
  • Business-related third-level qualification.

Hybrid Working:
