Job summary

Gilead Sciences Ireland UC in Cork seeks an Associate Director, Alliance and Collaborations Accounting to lead accounting and reporting for the most complex alliance arrangements. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate contractual terms into scalable accounting processes across multi-year lifecycle.

The role requires extensive accounting experience, ACA or equivalent and Big 4 training, with strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive accounting experience across complex alliances and collaborations.
• Experience in a multinational biopharma or regulated industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls/SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and reporting for the most complex alliance arrangements with significant technical judgments.
• Drive execution, prioritization, and issue resolution across the portfolio.
• Oversee month/quarter/year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and royalty calculations.
• Evaluate complex agreements for accounting implications across multi-year terms.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.
