Virtu Financial is seeking Quantitative Traders to design, operate, and improve high‑performance algorithmic trading strategies deployed on global electronic venues. After mentorship and training in trade floor operations, you will gradually integrate into strategy deployment and operation.

The role offers collaboration with software engineers to enhance trading strategies, focusing on market microstructure evolution and liquidity dynamics in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic background with all majors welcome, hard sciences preferred (CS, math, physics, statistics).
• Outstanding quantitative problem‑solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Programming experience is required (Python, SQL, Java or C++ are a plus).
• The ability to communicate information precisely and with agility.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with initiative and independence.
• Highly motivated and tenacious, capable of working both independently and in a team.
• Team player with collaborative attitude.
• No finance background is necessary.
