Job summary

Sofitel Dublin Airport Hotel, part of the Arora Group, seeks an experienced Security and Safety Manager to lead security, safety and emergency planning across a luxury flagship property connected to Dublin Airport. You will coordinate with airport partners, regulators and internal teams to ensure readiness for opening and ongoing operations.

The role requires a strong track record in 24/7 hospitality security, safety training and incident response, with a focus on guest safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Extensive security and safety expertise in hotel or similar 24/7 operation.
• Strong risk assessment, incident investigation and emergency planning skills.
• Ability to design and deliver practical safety training and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening and launch of the Security and Health & Safety function.
• Develop procedures in line with legal requirements and company standards.
• Oversee CCTV, access control, alarms and life-safety systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain the hotel Safety Statement.
• Act as Health & Safety Officer, advising managers across departments.
• Coordinate emergency drills, business continuity and incident responses.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents and implement fixes.
• Deliver training on security, safety and manual handling.
• Maintain relationships with emergency services and regulators.
• Provide risk reports to hotel leadership and drive improvements.
