Job summary

Excel Aviation Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Support & Maintenance Assistant for Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel. Flexible full-time or part-time, with training provided to develop skills in aircraft operations, maintenance support, and hangar activities.

The role welcomes both experienced aviation staff and entry-level candidates. You will assist with pre-flight prep, post-flight handling, daily inspections, cabin cleaning, and assisting engineers with maintenance tasks in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of aircraft before flight operations.

• Perform aircraft husbandry duties, including cabin cleaning and general upkeep.
• Support maintenance engineers with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Carry out basic aircraft maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised hangar environment.
• Assist with stock control, tooling management, and general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an Aircraft Support & Maintenance Assistant to join their team at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on aviation environment, supporting aircraft operations, maintenance activities, and hangar operations.

The role is suitable for both experienced aviation professionals seeking part-time flexible work and ambitious junior candidates looking to develop a career within aircraft maintenance and engineering support. Full training will be provided for specific tasks.
