Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking an Air Export Operator in Dublin to own end-to-end air export shipments from booking to arrival. You will liaise with airlines and partners to secure space and optimize routings while ensuring compliance with Irish procedures.

You will prepare MAWBs/HAWBs and provide proactive flight tracking updates to key accounts, driving profitability through precise cost control and client billing. A collaborative team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Irish air export forwarding.
• Solid understanding of aviation security standards (Known Cargo).
• Experience with air documentation and Irish customs procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills under tight airport cutoff times.

What You’ll Do:

• Run the Desk: Manage the complete lifecycle of global air export shipments from booking to final arrival.
• Build Airline Networks: Liaise with commercial airlines, GSAs, and overseas partners to secure space, build spot rates, and optimize routings.
• Master Compliance: Prepare precise export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, and Irish Revenue customs declarations.
• Advise Key Accounts: Serve as a strategic partner to clients, providing clear transit options and proactive flight tracking updates.
• Drive File Margins: Handle job costing, control carrier invoices, and manage client billing to keep shipments profitable.

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years in Irish air export forwarding.
• Solid understanding of aviation security standards (Known Cargo), air documentation, and Irish customs procedures.
• Experience using freight management software like CargoWise, MultiFreight, or similar platforms.
• Sharp problem-solving skills under tight airport cutoff times.
