Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the integrated delivery of complex initiatives, including AI, automation and emerging technologies. The role calls for establishing governance, roadmaps and an integrated plan, with oversight of outcomes, dependencies, risks and resources across diverse teams.

The successful candidate will coordinate business, product, technology and operations stakeholders, manage cross-project dependencies and support executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Programme or project-management qualification is advantageous.
• Experience with governance, planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish programme structure, governance model and delivery cadence.
• Translate objectives into an integrated programme roadmap and plan.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business, product, technology and operations.
• Manage programme risks, resources, costs and executive reporting.
• Coordinate design, implementation, adoption, and value measurement activities.
• Prepare governance materials and support executive decision-making.
• Facilitate steering and governance forums.
• Ensure alignment of scope changes with outcomes and schedules.
• Maintain records of decisions, actions and delivery evidence.
• Support transition to sustainable ownership and benefits tracking.
