Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Lead AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and mature our enterprise AI platform. You will lead a team of AI engineers, establish platform standards, and drive scalable AI/ML lifecycle support across the organization.

You will partner with Architecture, Cloud, Data, Security, and Product teams to deliver secure, scalable AI capabilities that accelerate production-grade AI solutions company-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise software platforms, cloud-native apps, or AI/ML platforms.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in an enterprise environment.
• Strong Python software engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of Mastercard's enterprise AI platform and reusable services.
• Mentor and manage a team of AI Engineers; provide technical guidance and career development.
• Define the technical roadmap for AI platform capabilities aligning with business strategy.
• Build and maintain AI services: model serving, inference APIs, feature stores, vector databases, and more.
