Job summary
Google LLC in Dublin, Ireland seeks a Customer Solutions Engineer Manager, Compute, Google Cloud to lead a global 24x7 AI Infrastructure support team. You will own escalations, drive operational excellence, and partner with product and engineering to align customer needs with product direction.
The role requires strong leadership, hands-on cloud and AI deployments experience, and willingness to work non-standard hours to support customers globally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in support engineering, software development, professional services, or related areas.
- 2 years experience managing a technical team in cloud or customer-facing role.
- Experience with hardware and software support and AI/ML data center deployments.
- Experience reading, reviewing, and writing code in C++, Java, Python, or Go.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Support Engineers delivering technical support for AI Infra products.
- Resolve high-profile escalations and improve customer experience.
- Develop vision and priorities and ensure high-quality customer experience.
- Partner with product management and engineering to translate customer needs into a better product.
- Be available for non-standard work hours, including weekends.
