Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork, Ireland, is hiring an AI Performance Engineer (Cloud AI Engineering) to optimize and deploy AI models for production-scale inference. You will work across model types, including LLMs and diffusion models, and collaborate with compiler, firmware and platform teams.

You will apply deep learning optimization techniques, hardware-aware mapping, and performance analysis to deliver scalable, efficient AI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master's degree with 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• PhD with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of programming in C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Convert, optimize and deploy models for efficient inference using PyTorch, ONNX.
• Analyze and optimize performance of LLM, VLM, and diffusion models for throughput and latency.
• Map the next generation AI workloads on top of current and future hardware designs.
• Collaborate with internal compiler, firmware and platform teams to drive solutions.
• Design and implement high-level kernels (e.g., in Triton) to generate efficient low-level code.
