Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead AI model optimization for large-scale models on Qualcomm accelerators in Cork. You will transform PyTorch models, rewrite graphs, and drive deployment strategies across multi-core systems.

The role partners with compiler and performance teams to scale optimizations. You will work on KVcache specifics, decoding behavior, and continuous batching, while ensuring production-ready performance.

Qualifications

• Expert level PyTorch and inference-focused model optimization.
• Hands-on experience with graph capture and compilation workflows (TorchDynamo, torch.compile).
• Deep understanding of transformer architectures, MoEs, and performance trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Architect model optimization strategies transform PyTorch models for inference on Qualcomm accelerators.
• Drive graph capture and deployment using PyTorch, ONNX, and torch.compile.
• Design and implement fusion kernels using DSLs (e.g., Triton).
• Profile and optimize LLM/VLM/diffusion inference for throughput and latency.
