Job summary

Ministry Brands in Galway is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing engineering team. You’ll leverage AI tools to automate tests, design robust QA strategies, and help deliver AI-native products.

The role blends manual and automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels. You will work in a hybrid setup from our Galway office, collaborating with developers and product teams, and you’ll contribute to code reviews, test framework design, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience using AI tools for test creation and execution.
• Experience developing QA strategies for AI-based products.
• Strong hands-on testing with manual and automated approaches.
• Strong programming in C#, Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with contract testing (PACT).

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools to create test cases, unit tests, UI tests, and performance tests.
• Develop testing strategies for AI-based products, including evaluating model reliability.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#, Python, and TypeScript.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Develop and execute contract testing (e.g., PACT) to ensure API integration.
• Conduct manual testing including functional, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and identify issues early.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC and promote quality practices.
