Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs for national-aged children, operating on-site at schools. The role focuses on supervising children, supporting homework, and leading engaging activities with a high-energy, inclusive approach.

Working hours are Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons, with emphasis on safety and a positive learning environment for families across multiple local services in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting completed by us after interview stage.
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
