Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is hiring for an after-school care role, offering supervision, homework support, and engaging activities for school-aged children at partner schools.

We value energy and enthusiasm, English proficiency, and Garda vetting handled after interviews. Work hours are 1:10pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, in a local school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development and well-being.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children daily.
• Show energy and enthusiasm while working with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

Job Description

Supervise children during activities and free play

Assistwith homework and educational tasks

Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment

Qualifications

Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)

Basic knowledge of child development

Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written

Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).

At least 2 written references checks arerequiredbefore starting
