Job summary

DAVENCREST LIMITED is seeking an Afterschool Centre Operations Deputy Officer to manage daily operations, develop learning programs, and uphold high standards of service. You will support staff, liaise with HR on staff issues, and ensure compliance with GDPR and centre policies.

The role requires leadership, strong administration and effective communication with parents and staff, plus ongoing professional development in collaboration with the senior Afterschool team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as an Afterschool Supervisor in a school setting.
• Pursuing a minimum Level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• A team player who can lead and work with others to deliver quality service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and management of the centre.
• Support staff in developing programmes and activities to meet centre needs.
• Implement the Kids Inc Positive Behaviour Management Policy.
• Maintain accurate staff records, accident reports and training certificates.
• Run risk assessments in line with policies and procedures and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Coordinate weekly staff meetings and communicate with parents via newsletters.
