Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in report writing and client support plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Care/Placement plans.
• Promote rights and responsibilities of each client.
• Encourage attendance at training and clinical appointments.
• Record incidents and emergency procedures as required.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to care plan progression.

Skills

Ability to support clients in a non-judgemental way

Ability to prevent and manage challenging behaviour

Ability to work on my initiative and as part of a team

Comfortable with information technology and reporting

Education

B.A. in Social Care, QQI Level 7

CORU registration or application in process

National Diploma in Childcare, QQI
