Job summary

Bellefield Early Years Centre in Enniscorthy is hiring a part-time Early Years Practitioner for after school hours 1.30pm–5.30pm, 38 weeks per year. Join a supportive team in a welcoming preschool setting where children explore, play and learn.

Qualifications

• FETAC QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education Major Award or equivalent (must be listed on the DCEDIY List of Early Years Recognised Qualifications)
• Minimum of six months to one year's experience in an early year's environment is desirable
• Currently Eligible to work in Ireland
• Experience of working with children with disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• To provide a play-based curriculum that fosters children's emerging interests, guided by the National Early Years Practice Frameworks Aistear and Siolta.
• Work in close partnership with and develop and maintain good relationships with parents/guardians and other family members
