Job summary

Little Treasures Pre-school Playgroup in Dublin is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves supporting children through an inquiry-based curriculum, in line with Aistear and Siolta, within a safe, nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have QQI Level 5 in Childcare, 2 years' experience in an Early Years setting, current First Aid, and Garda Vetting. A commitment to CPD and working as part of a collaborative team is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Childcare (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years experience working in an Early Years Environment.
• Up to date First Aid, Children's First, Fire Safety, Manual Handling and HACCP.
• Knowledge of Aistear, the National Curriculum Framework and Siolta, the National Quality Framework.
• Willingness for Continuous Professional Development training throughout the year.
• Garda Vetting prior to commencing employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, inclusive environment for all children.
• Support children's learning and development through an inquiry-based curriculum, in line with Aistear and Siolta.
• Work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, management and all stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene in line with our policies and procedures.
