Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is hiring for after-school and holiday club roles in schools across Ireland. You will supervise children during activities and free play after 2pm, assist with homework, and lead a variety of indoor and outdoor plans in a safe, engaging environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• At least 2 written references checks required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in planned indoor and outdoor activities with the children each day.
• Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
