Job summary

The Avalon Centre in Sligo is seeking a development-focused staff member for its After School service. No prior experience is required as accredited training will be provided to support your career.

You'll work 1:30pm–6pm, Monday to Friday (up to 19.5 hours), assisting with homework and delivering a programme of activities including sport, arts & crafts and games for school-age children. You may also join summer, Easter and Halloween camps as part of the team.

Qualifications

• This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary.
• Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
• Hours are 1:30pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, up to 19.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework support and plan/deliver activities for school-age children.
• Organise sports, arts & crafts, and games as part of a structured programme.
• Participate in summer, Easter and Halloween camps; work as part of a team under supervision.
