Dell Technologies in Cork, Ireland seeks a Material Planning Senior Advisor to collaborate with customers and define business requirements, delivering solutions that strengthen processes. You will define objectives based on end-user needs and maximize opportunities across the organization.

You will work with global teams to drive end-to-end order lifecycles, material allocation, and inventory balancing, while providing clear updates to leadership and stakeholders. Shift considerations may apply.

What you’ll achieve

As a Material Planning Senior Advisor, you will collaborate with our customers to define business requirements while providing solutions and tools that strengthen business processes. You will define objectives based on end-user needs and identify the organization's strengths, finding ways to maximize opportunities and improve business processes.

You will:

• Work with business users to define and investigate problems, conducting studies to create alternative business solutions that meet current and future environments

• Learn and apply knowledge in the order and materials team to support our AI manufacturing

• Interpret findings and identify business opportunities to deliver values through knowledge Management at the program and business unit levels

• Design, develop, implement and maintain solutions, coordinate projects and work with extended teams

Essential Requirements

• Capable of performing detailed analysis and influencing others based on analysis outcome
• Proven proficiency using AI tools
• Capable of making strategic decisions with ambiguous information
• Capable of presenting regularly to VP level
• ERP & Systems Mastery: Proven hands‑on proficiency with enterprise-level ERP system D365.
• Releasing manufacturing ordersand assigning Material
• Operational Execution & Governance: Deep understanding of end-to-end order lifecycles, material allocation, inventory balancing, backlog management, material subs, material allocation and reservation
• Complex Problem‑Solving: Demonstrated capability to resolve operational bottlenecks, manage critical escalations, and perform thorough root‑cause analyses for delivery and fulfilment delays.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to partner cross‑functionally with Global Procurement, Manufacturing/Plant Operations, Logistics, Sales Operations, and Finance to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of summarizing complex operational data into actionable updates for leadership.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence:
• Advanced capability with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau

Digital Transformation & Automation:

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, AI‑driven supply chain platforms, or automated workflow design.
