Job summary

Stewarts Care Ltd in Ireland seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide a high-quality, person-centred OT service to adults with intellectual disabilities in Adult Services. You will assess, plan and implement intervention programmes, manage caseloads and work within MDT to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

The post SC25-830 is permanent and full-time, with duties spanning education/training, quality and risk management, and administration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with CORU.
• Maintain annual CORU registration to practise.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities required.
• Experience collaborating with families and MDTs.
• Demonstrate competence to perform the duties.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and review OT interventions.
• Collaborate with MDT members (education, nursing, care) for coordinated care.
• Attend MDT meetings and communicate assessments and recommendations.
• Maintain clinical records and reports in line with professional standards.
• Manage caseloads and adhere to HIQA standards and policies.
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance.
