RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for domestic and overseas candidates. We are hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing for a leading nursing home in Kildare, Ireland.

This permanent, full-time role requires strong leadership of the nursing team, a registered NMBI nurse, and a track record in older person care. You will oversee clinical practice, care delivery, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards.

Qualificações

• Nursing qualification with current NMBI registration.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience with older people.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in health and social care.
• Post-registration management qualification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills essential.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a warm, homely and person-centred environment that respects residents’ privacy, dignity, rights and confidentiality.
• Provide compassionate, respectful and non-judgmental care, recognising each resident’s individuality, life history, preferences and emotional needs.
• Encourage meaningful social interaction and daily activities by creating opportunities that promote engagement, independence, enjoyment and a sense of belonging.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team, recognising and utilising the skills and abilities of colleagues to enhance residents’ wellbeing.
• Adapt care approaches to meet individual needs, remaining flexible and responsive to residents’ changing circumstances rather than focusing solely on routine.
• Support the Director of Nursing/PIC in providing clinical and professional leadership to the care team and in delivering high-quality direct resident care.
• Monitor and supervise the delivery of care within Nursing Home, promoting resident safety, quality standards and continuous improvement in care practices.
