Medacs Global Group / Impellam is seeking a GP locum to provide addiction treatment services in Ireland. The role involves prescribing OST medications, managing opioid use disorder, and coordinating with the regional team to meet KPIs and service standards.

The position offers flexible working hours, both part-time and full-time options, with weekly payments and ongoing yearly extensions for long-term engagement. IMC registration is desirable but not essential, and indemnity cover is required.

Competenze

• Actively working as a GP in Ireland or recent Irish GP experience is required.
• Personal indemnity cover is required for practice and patient safety.
• IMC registration is desirable but not required for candidacy.
• Experience in addiction services is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Prescribe OST clinics to ensure access to treatment (Methadone/Buprenorphine).
• Provide care for opioid use disorder and comorbid benzodiazepine/alcohol issues as applicable.
• Attend clinical team meetings and participate in audits and service development.
• Maintain records per best practice and assist with regular statistical returns.
• Out of hours emergency online scripting may be required on occasion.
