Job summary

Ryanair Ltd. is recruiting an Airworthiness Directives & Mandatory Service Bulletins Engineer to support the Group fleet’s continuing airworthiness.

You will review ADs/SBs, liaise with Technical Services and present complex ADs to senior management, contributing to safety and compliance across BOEING 737NG and AIRBUS A320 fleets. The role requires an engineering degree or EASA Part 66 license, with 3+ years in Technical Services/CAMO and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or EASA Part 66 license is required.
• 3+ years in Technical Services/CAMO with AD/SB experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Boeing 737NG and Airbus A320 is advantageous.
• Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 rules.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior management.
• MS Office suite proficiency; AMOS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weekly search for new EASA/FAA ADs for 737/A320 fleet.
• Weekly search for new SBs/Service Letters and notify team.
• Initial review and AMOS setup of new ADs.
• Coordinate with Section Managers on new ADs applicability.
• Chair AD meetings with senior management on a regular basis.
• Draft presentations to explain complex ADs as needed.
• Review AD paperwork for compliance and report in AMOS.
• Act as liaison with Line/Base Maintenance on AD/SB queries.

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Airworthiness Directives & Mandatory Service Bulletins Engineer to join Europe's Largest Airline!

The Role:

Technical Services support the Ryanair Group fleet of Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft by ensuring continuing airworthiness. One of the core Technical Services responsibilities is ensuring continued compliance with Airworthiness Directives (AD) and mandatory Service Bulletins (SB). Candidates for this important role need to be effective communicators capable of reviewing complex technical data and operate to the highest standard consistently.

Duties Include:

• Perform weekly search for new EASA and FAA AD's applicable to group fleet of 737 and A320 aircraft.
• Perform a weekly search for new Service Bulletins and Service Letters and issue notification to Technical Services for review.
• Initial review and AMOS setup of any new AD's that are applicable.
• Liaise with Technical Services Section Managers on new AD's applicable to their section.
• Monitor the process of AD setup per procedure with Technical Services sections from receipt to final Chief Engineer sign off.
• Chair monthly and quarterly group AD meeting with senior management.
• Draft and deliver presentations to explain complex AD's as and when necessary.
• Review completed AD paperwork to ensure continued compliance and report back on AMOS.
• Act as point of contact with Line and Base Maintenance facilities on AD and SB related queries.
• Completion of Ad-Hoc projects assigned by the Deputy Director of Technical Services as and when required.

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Degree and / or EASA Part 66 license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Technical Services / CAMO role - ideally with experience reviewing AD's and SB's.
• Technical Knowledge of the Boeing 737NG aircraft. Airbus A320 technical knowledge an advantage.
• Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 rules.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups - including senior management.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint. AMOS MRO software competency is an advantage.
• Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
