Job summary

Raigmore Hospital’s Acute Adult ANP/ACP Service is recruiting Band 4 Assistant Practitioners to join our dynamic team. The role provides clinical and administrative support to Medical and Nursing staff and includes venepuncture, cannulation and catheterisation, with supervision and opportunities for independent work as needed.

You will work across shifts in a busy hospital environment, including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Healthcare at SCQF level 7-8 or above.
• Standard Grade pass in English or equivalent.
• Recent acute hospital experience within the past 2 years.
• Evidence of completion of Mandatory Induction Standards or NHS Scotland equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide venepuncture, cannulation and catheterisation.
• Assist with medical procedures and emergency response.
• Provide clinical and administrative support to medical and nursing staff.
• Work flexibly across days, evenings and weekends.
