Job summary

Raigmore Hospital is recruiting for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join the Acute Adult ANP/ACP Service. The role involves clinical and administrative support across multiple specialties, including assisting with venepuncture, cannulation, catheterisation and various medical procedures.

The post requires experience in an acute hospital, the ability to work independently with supervision, and a willingness to work out of hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Healthcare at SCQF level 7-8 or higher.
• Three National Qualifications including English.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Recent acute hospital experience (last 2 years).
• Evidence of Mandatory Induction Standards if outside NHS Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to medical staff.
• Carry out venepuncture, cannulation and catheterisation.
• Assist with medical procedures and emergency teams.
• Work out of hours including evenings and weekends.
• Work independently with supervision as required.
