Job summary

Raretec Recruitment is recruiting for an Actuarial Analyst position based in Dublin city centre. The role sits within the Actuarial Operations Team and welcomes candidates with 1-2 years of actuarial experience who are progressing through actuarial exams.

A strong learning and development culture offers exposure to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include calculating policy adjustments, coordinating with Customer Services and Finance, and ensuring regulatory and product specs are met.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of actuarial experience
  • Progression through IFoA exams (or similar)
  • Degree in a relevant subject (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance)
  • Understanding of unit-linked products, preferably within an international market
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and process policy adjustments while managing end-to-end workflows to ensure all corrections are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Liaise with Customer Services and Finance to confirm all required follow-up actions and account updates are fully executed.
  • Ensure illustration bases align with product specs and admin systems while maintaining strict compliance with multi-territory regulatory and business standards.
  • Deliver timely, professional calculations and guidance for non-standard illustration requests.
  • Carry out additional tasks and operational duties as directed by the Deputy Chief Actuary.
