Job summary

Raretec Recruitment is assisting a leading global professional services firm in Dublin to recruit a Life Actuarial Manager for its Risk Consulting team. The role focuses on delivering actuarial projects, managing junior colleagues, and developing technical capabilities across life and related consulting services.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years PQE in life insurance or life consultancy, strong technical/analytical skills, and experience with IFRS 17 or related areas.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with ≥3 years PQE and 6+ years total life/consultancy experience.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience in actuarial software such as MoSes or Prophet.
• Experience IFRS 17 or related areas preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and management of actuarial projects and client relationships.
• Lead production of client deliverables prioritising quality and teamwork.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues.
• Develop areas of technical excellence and contribute to R&D.
• Adopt account-management mindset, promoting firm services and values.
• Lead client interactions and supervise juniors.
• Engage across assurance and business consulting projects to build a network.
