Job summary

Evergreen Care is seeking an Activities coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities for residents, coordinating with nursing staff to ensure high-quality leisure experiences. You will organise events, activities, and daily programmes to enrich residents' lives and promote a supportive community.

The role requires strong communication, energy, and a collaborative approach with staff, volunteers and residents to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management abilities are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and liaise with staff, volunteers and residents.
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach with commitment to enriching residents' lives.
• Experience in Health/Social Care is desirable and willingness to undertake further training.

Responsibilities

• Promote an environment that meets residents' spiritual, recreational and leisure needs.
• Plan and arrange a varied activity programme with nurse manager, including arts, games, crafts and exercise.
• Initiate and assist in planning events such as birthdays and seasonal celebrations.
• Organise daily activities and promote a resident-focused environment.
• Deliver activity programmes with strong communication and teamwork with staff and volunteers.
