Job summary

SeeMe Hired Ltd is seeking a Part Time Activities Assistant to join our care team. You will assist in planning, organising and delivering an activity programme that enhances residents' quality of life, wellbeing and mental health, in collaboration with the Activities Coordinator and healthcare staff.

Previous experience with older adults is advantageous but not essential. An interest in hobbies such as music, arts & crafts is highly desirable. Weekend availability is required.

Activities Assistant

We are seeking a creative compassionate and enthusiastic Part Time Activities Assistant to join our dedicated care team, In this role, you will assist in planning, organising and delivering a meaningful Activity programme that enhances the quality of life, wellbeing and mental health of our residents. You will work closely with the Activities Coordinator and Healthcare staff to ensure all residents can participitate in life enhancing daily activies.

Must be available to work part time, including weekend shifts.

About the role

Previous experience working with older adults in a residential care of community setting is highly advantageous but not essential.

Interested in hobbies in areas such as music, arts & crafts, are highly desirable.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate patiently and warmly with residents, family members and staff.
