Job summary

Opera is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team in Dublin on a hybrid basis. The role covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, with a focus on accurate processing and timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of AP/AR experience, an Accounting Technician qualification or a degree in Accounting or Finance, and working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in AP/AR functions in a multinational setting.
• Accounting Technician qualification or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Workday) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, prepare supplier settlement runs, and address vendor queries.
• Issue customer invoices, allocate receipts, and process daily bank transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including journals and reconciliations.
• Process employee expense reports in line with policy.
• Support audits and ad hoc tasks for the Finance function.
