Job summary

JD.COM is seeking a finance intern to support daily bookkeeping, data consolidation and reporting using Excel. The position is based in Ireland or the UK, with potential full-time opportunities in Ireland after successful conversion.

You will collaborate across borders, assist in cross-department finance tasks across multiple time zones, and contribute to process improvements while developing practical accounting and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
• Fresh graduates 2026/2027.
• Prior finance internship or ongoing CPA/ACCA study preferred.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support daily financial bookkeeping, voucher sorting and checking.
• Consolidate data, analyze and report with Excel; participate in process improvements.
• Support bilingual communication with overseas clients and cross-department teams across time zones.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the finance team.

Job Responsibilities

• Support daily financial bookkeeping, voucher sorting and checking, assist in routine financial processing and identify basic operational financial risks.
• Conduct financial data consolidation, analysis and report generation with Excel, take part in data review and process-improvement initiatives.
• Support bilingual communication with overseas clients and cross-department teams, follow up daily business matters under multi-time-zone cross-border collaboration.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the finance team.

Job Requirements

• Financial Expertise: Familiar with financial bookkeeping requirements, with logical thinking in financial processing and basic financial risk awareness.
• Data Analysis: Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Able to support process optimization through data insights. Python knowledge is a plus.
• Communication: Able to communicate effectively in English with overseas clients and internal stakeholders for cross-border business collaboration.
• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related majors. 2026 / 2027 fresh graduates. Prior finance internship, Big-Four exposure or ongoing CPA/ACCA study is preferred.
• Core Traits: Detail-oriented, responsible and data-sensitive. Quick learner adaptable to fast-paced cross-border work with strong teamwork skills.
