Job summary

Marsh Mackey is recruiting on behalf of a Premier EnSuite Artisans & suppliers based in Navan for an Accountant to join their finance team.

Responsibilities include posting and reconciling banking receipts in the Intact system, monthly bank reconciliations, VAT and RCT returns, debtors/creditors reconciliations, invoicing, and supporting the finance function with internal queries and admin tasks. The ideal candidate has at least five years in accounts and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in accounts.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle high volumes.

Responsibilities

• Match and post banking receipts to the Intact accounting system.
• Post payments into the Intact accounting system.
• Bank reconciliations monthly.
• Filing VAT & RCT returns.
• Debtors & creditors reconciliations and matching back to Trial Balance.
• Post Sales Invoices and send debtors statements.
• Look after Motor Vehicle CVRT, Tax and Insurance.
• Handle queries from internal staff and provide admin support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
