Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our dedicated team. This role will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing management accounts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role is located at the Blackberry Hearing head office in Naas, Kildare. This is a key role that will contribute to the financial health and strategic growth of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Administering monthly company payroll
  • General ledger/Month end close process
  • Ensuring all monthly general ledger reconciliations are completed
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and forecasts
  • Preparation of VAT and other Irish Revenue returns
  • Liaising with Auditors for the completion of the Financial Statements
  • Preparation of the annual budget
  • Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Experience
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or CPA) required
  • Experience processing payroll required
  • Experience liaising with ROS and filing returns
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with Sage accounting is beneficial
  • Private Pension matched to 5%
