Job summary

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) in Dublin is seeking an Accountant to join the Finance team and support the Senior Accountant and Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. You will work with experienced colleagues and trusted partners to maintain high standards of financial control.

Responsibilities include month-end close, revenue recognition, prepayments and accruals, journal postings and VAT returns, with opportunities to contribute to process

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Month end responsibilities including revenue recognition and allocation of costs.
• Preparation of prepayments and accruals; posting of monthly journals.
• Maintain VAT/compliance reporting and assist with statutory audit files.
