Job summary

CGN Europe Energy in Dublin, Ireland is seeking an Accountant to support the finance function. You will prepare monthly management accounts, consolidation schedules for statutory audits, and assist with cash planning, tax compliance and procurement processing.

You will collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate reporting, timeliness, and compliance with Irish Revenue requirements, while maintaining robust data and documentation across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Strong financial reporting, consolidation and management accounting skills.
• Understanding of treasury coordination and tax compliance support.
• English proficiency and ability to communicate with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Jiuqi consolidation package and schedules for the annual statutory audit.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support review and sign-off.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and respond to information requests.
• Provide clear supporting information for oversight and decision-making.
• Collaborate with treasury on cash planning and funding coordination.
• Maintain tax payment summaries and assist with Irish Revenue compliance.
• Process procurement records and support internal controls and approvals.
• Assist with finance projects, data verification and timely delivery.
