Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete client files and financial statements from start to finish to a high professional standard, ensuring delivery within budget and deadlines.
• Manage accounts preparation and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and company directors.
• Draft financial reports and present engagement results to the engagement manager.
• Identify and resolve areas of non‑compliance with accounting standards.
• Contribute to statutory accounting, compliance, and related services across a diverse client base.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience—ideal for aRecently Qualified Accountant seeking growth.
• Background in practice with a desire to broaden skills and take on new challenges.
• Small–medium practice experience is essential.
• Experience working with audit‑exempt clients.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to act as an effective advisor to clients.
• Proven experience preparing Irish income tax and related returns.
