Job summary

FINN Partners is expanding in Ireland and is seeking an Account Executive to advance their agency career. You will help create and execute communications and public affairs strategies for diverse Irish and international clients across food & beverage, health, financial services, transport, sustainability, sports and arts & culture.

We are looking for a well-rounded communicator with a broad skill set, from social media strategy to traditional media relations.

Qualifications

• Background in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, politics or business or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Versatility across modern communications, from social media to traditional PR and written communications.
• Interest in current affairs, digital media and culture with awareness of trends.
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with strong organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive integrated campaigns by contributing to creative development, planning and multi-channel ideas.
• Craft high-impact content across digital and traditional channels including press releases and op-eds.
• Lead media and stakeholder relations; pitch stories and manage media inquiries.
• Deliver client insights by monitoring social/digital trends and government announcements.
• Support new business by identifying growth opportunities and assisting with pitches.

Working as part of our high-energy team, you’ll help create and execute communications and public affairs strategies for a dynamic portfolio of Irish and international clients across food & beverage, health, financial services, transport, sustainability, sports, and arts & culture. We are looking for a well-rounded communicator with a diverse skill set across the communications spectrum, from social media strategy to traditional media relations.

The Role

Tailored to your level of experience, key responsibilities will include:

• Drive Integrated Campaigns: Contribute to creative campaign development, strategic planning, and presenting multi-channel ideas to existing and prospective clients.
• Craft High-Impact Content: Write, edit, and produce compelling content across digital and traditional channels, including press releases, op-eds, social media copy, and multimedia assets.
• Lead Media & Stakeholder Relations: Pitch stories across national, local, and trade channels, handle media inquiries, and build daily relationships with industry and government representatives.
• Deliver Client Insight: Monitor and report on social/digital trends, media coverage, government announcements, industry shifts, and new research.
• Power New Business: Identify growth opportunities, nurture client relationships, assist with pitch proposals, and help client account management run seamlessly.

Storytelling Ability

Background: A degree in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, politics, or business, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Comprehensive Skill Set: Strong versatility across modern communications, from social media and digital content strategy to traditional PR and written communications, with a meticulous eye for detail.

Industry Curiosity: An innate passion for current affairs, digital media, and culture, with a keen eye for emerging trends, consumer behaviours and technology.

Work Ethic: A proactive, self-starting mindset with strong organizational skills to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility: Full-time eligibility to work in Ireland.
