Apex Group in Dublin is hiring an Account Manager - Fund Accounting to lead NAV calculations and reconciliation for private equity funds. You will oversee accounting staff, coordinate with managers and auditors, and ensure accurate reporting across multiple funds.

Candidates should have fund accounting experience, a university degree, and strong Excel skills. Geneva/Investran experience is a plus, with flexibility to manage cross-jurisdictional reporting.

You will have a proven knowledge of the fund industry and should have demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience working on Geneva/Investran would also be highly beneficial for this position. **Responsibilities** * You will be responsible for the detailed review of the reconciliation and calculation of periodic net asset values of various PE funds, including:* Capital/income distribution workings* Waterfall calculations* Dealing with requests from and communicating with the investment manager and investors regarding all aspects of the account’s operation.* Updating accounting and client relationship management systems, updating, and verifying statistical information, oversee financial statements preparation, and working with external auditors.* Review of fee structures calculation at each NAV i.e carry and mgmt. fee calculation* You will be responsible for the oversight of outsourced office and their assigned relationships, ensuring timely and accurate NAV calculation along with any other client specific reporting requirements.* Liaise with Investment Managers, Auditors, Broker’s, Custodians, and Investors frequently* Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the fund’s specifications* Ensuring compliance with all internal deadlines for reporting and MIS* Ensuring accurate internal revenue reporting* Supervision, training, and recruitment of accounting staff* Ensure effective communication with colleagues and corresponding departments**Skills** * At least 3 years extensive fund accounting experience including supervision of teams* Experience with general ledger accounting* Strong computer skills including Excel & Word.
