Apex Group Ireland is seeking an AVP – Closed Ended Account Manager to lead detailed NAV calculations for private equity funds, oversee reconciliations, and coordinate with the investment manager and investors.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years fund accounting experience, supervisory responsibilities, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with Geneva/Investran; Geneva/Luxembourg knowledge is an advantage.

AVP – Closed Ended Account Manager Apex Fund Services Ireland The successful applicant should have relevant experience in theauditing oradministration of Private Equity funds. You will have a proven knowledge of the fund industry and should have demonstratedexperiencein a similar role. Experience working onGeneva/Investranwould also be highly beneficial for this position.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities You will be responsible for the detailed review of the reconciliation and calculation of periodic net asset values of various PE funds, including: Capital/income distribution workings Waterfall calculations Dealing with requests from and communicating with the investment manager and investors regarding all aspects of the account’s operation. Updating accounting and client relationship management systems, updating, and verifying statistical information, oversee financial statements preparation, and working with external auditors. Review of fee structures calculation at each NAV i.e carry and mgmt. fee calculation You will be responsible for the oversight of outsourced office and their assigned relationships, ensuring timely and accurate NAV calculation along with any other client specific reporting requirements. Liaisewith Investment Managers, Auditors, Broker’s, Custodians, and Investorsfrequently Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the fund’s specifications Ensuring compliance with all internal deadlines for reporting and MIS Ensuring accurate internal revenue reporting Supervision, training, and recruitment of accounting staff Ensure effective communication with colleagues and corresponding departments.

Skills

At least 3 years extensive fund accounting experience including supervision of teams Experience with general ledger accounting Strong computer skills including Excel & Word. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions desirable. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills An ability to think critically and objectively The flexibility and willingness to work additional hours as needed University degree - accounting, finance, business, or economics preferred (or overseas equivalent) Geneva/Investran experience would be advantageous Knowledge of Luxembourg domiciled structures also an advantage
